Come into the House!

Come into the house behind some tall trees
Meet all the kids - we have 6's, 5's, 4's and 3's.
Happy Time is our start,
Then onto Cognitive, Life, Large Motor and Art.

Each day is special because of who's there
But some days you can bring your dinosaur or bear!
It may be the day to wear blue or red or brown
Once a year, even a favorite nightgown.

Snack-time!   You can pour your own juice!
Check that pitcher to make sure the top isn't loose.
Crackers, fruit or cereal, you never know what you'll see
But no sunflowers here-Bellwood's nut-free!

Who were those witches at the Halloween Parade?
I didn't scream.   I wasn't afraid
In December we sing of each winter holiday
As a special grand finale, there's YMCA!

Time for K-Kids-who gets to go today?
I hope it's my turn to write the letter "A".
At the end we pick our treasures from the big chest
(First we pick up everything we messed.)

The Art Show is amazing.   You really have to come.
Words cannot describe it.   The shapes and colors hum!
What used to be the church becomes a magic space
Sculptures, flowers, paintings . . . and even my own face!

There's much more to life a Bellwood Preschool
There are bunnies, chicks, butterflies and frogs in a pool.
There are seasons, Science, Spanish and The Mitten,
It's with the gestalt that we are completely smitten.

The best part of Bellwood is not what you see
It's something deep inside, I guess it's really free.
Warm fuzzies and cold pricklies are a world apart.
The biggest thing I learned is how to use my heart.
